Thank you for your interest in this research study. The University of Virginia is partnering with your child’s Head Start to conduct this study. This study compares two web-based programs: weLearn2Read, a reading readiness program, and weSIPsmarter, a sugary drink reduction program.
Your Head Start is participating in the weLearn2Read program. We want to learn about how the weLearn2Read program changes how much caregivers read to their pre-school age children. We are also interested in how caregivers use the program.
This study is run by researchers at the University of Virginia and is funded by the National Institutes of Health.
